with all the ice and snow dfw received, the metroplex was on shut-down mode and the four of us were forced to hibernate together for four days straight. the highways were not the problem but the residential streets instead, and since we live right smack in the middle of four highways we could not get to any of them. it was actually a nice staycation and final babymoon for the escontrias-whitener familia pre-kj. we watched/caught up on quite a few movies (on dvd's) since our hd tv and internet were out. happy to report that kevin and baby girl did go out and exercise each day (even though kevin fell a number of times) and kj and i went along with them the day it snowed (no ice for us thank you very much) - jet once again preferred to stay cozy in his sleep spot.
