din-din w/papa frank
people keep saying that kj has grown so much but their words are usually, "veronica, you are getting big" so kevin thought it would be funny to snap this shot while out eating a big bbq din-din with papa frank (plenty of tums was required before and after eating).

kj house prep 1
those of you who have been keeping close tabs on us know that we are way behind on everything kj, so we started to get crack-a-lackin by patching & painting kj's room mid january, just slightly over one month prior to arrival. we also ordered the furniture so late thanks to papa kevin and they had very long lead-times. needless to say, the pack-n-play has been set-up just in case we run a little behind on the room.
with two supervisors (baby girl tess and me - jet wanted no part in this) kevin got the job done under budget and on schedule, however there are quite a few spots of paint on the carpet
rose bowl 2011
we decided to make one last trip pre-kj and what better event than a new year's day bowl game and victory - it just so happened it was a tcu game (i know kevin would say it would have been slightly better had a&m been playing)...
we got rain/snowed in one day but got to take a look see around santa monica pier (where our hotel was) but only as far as my legs could carry kj and me - the walk back was one of the longest and slowest ever, kevin could have gone and come back for us five times over!
