party time t is seven months

after a good morning welcome from papa, mama, jet & baby girl:
mr.t was changed, fed, played and lounged in the nap nanny, changed again and finally able to celebrate 7 months with his roommates!  just in case you can't tell which one is tomas, (because of his teddy bear camo jammies), he is the only one with an open drolly mouth.  party time is over and nap time is to begin-tomas has spoken.

lower crib

okay so we did have to move the crib down since our little baby is always trying to pull himself up & over...fast forward a few days...

now he pulls himself up to standing, so we will be moving it down again one more level over the weekend - great, tomas is going to get us back for all the shenanigans kevin pulled growing up because veronica was a well behaved little lady (even though she has had broken bones & kevin has not)

messy times

it is difficult to keep tomas' attention - even his first sweet potato chicken din combo didn't beat out the animals around him.  they are going to love it when he starts to eat finger foods, as much of it will end up on the ground.

film for the family

the three of us ventured out to our first family movie at the theatre last week - good for the other viewers, it was the cry baby matinee at the angelika.  mr.t did pretty good, although we thought he'd sleep for at least part of it-he was awake from the first preview to the last credit.  (the last photo of the three of us was after the film was over so the flash shocked all of us just a bit)

sweet siblings

we were even able to take baby girl off the leash for this photo.  she is still adjusting to mr.t taking over the family and is somewhat scared of him (for good reason) but he is just fascinated with his big sis and big brother - he smiles and giggles every time he sees them and is giddy when they are brave enough to actually come up to him!

and he has discovered how fun it is to pull little jet's tail - good thing that jetsey likes the attention he's getting.

oh he is so close indeed and gets frustrated that he can't sink his arms and legs just yet.

saturday walk-about

t looks like such a big boy in his jogger now.  it was early in the morning so he went in his pj's.

and we noticed a mosquito bite on his cheeky sunday morning he must have gotten from the early walk.  of course it bothered his mama to see him with it but it even made papa feel bad for the little guy. it however did not bother tomas at all, he is quite the rough & tough kind-does surprising well with shots (only takes pain med before because mama gives him some) and has not cried over the teething that is going on.  i guess he's just like mama carmen - he can take pain & doesn't complain about the pain he is under!

photos of mr.t's room have been requested by a few so here they are.  since we didn't know what kevonica jr. was going to be we went with a neutral animal theme and think he really enjoys his space, as lots of attention to detail and more important, love went into this for him from his papa & mama!  (only thing missing are the blackout roller shades mama needs to make)

whoop

we had an aggie onesie emergency on sunday for the season opener - tomas had outgrown his a&m gear mama carmen bought him (this was him in it last april)

time goes by fast and we knew it was small but only thought it'd be snug...guess we still see him as our little newborn-this was him in it on sunday.

so we hit the shops on labor day (since papa didn't have to go to the office) got us a stockpile and mr.t is sporting one today. (he was just getting up from his morning nap)

rah-rah

tomas is up again and this is how he was found - he was a busy body trying to escape his crib. (we often find him sleeping with one hand over the edge, so we may need to lower the mattress sooner than we thought we'd have to)

and this is his first football game out of mama's tummy but he will not even make it through the first quarter as it will be nighty-nite for mr.t.

i'm so excited...

mr.t got up stoked for the official start of football with the tcu game tonight, so excited that after a clean diaper and breakfast he fell fast asleep...
