mr.t wanted to make sure he wished all the bestest new year! (we snapped these after his new year's eve bath tonight)

not sure how many of you have seen the film son of rambow (a must see if you and the family have not-we finally saw it last year with mama carmen while tomas was cooking) and these photos of tomas & papa reminded me of it and give me warm-fuzzies.  tom-tom found baby girl's collar and slipped it on his head (we play a game we call "little hat" and put a variety of objects on our heads-this always makes t giggle)

it is a miracle that all of them fit in the tub together-this night there were 6 of them in his little tub, but he enjoys the bath company

mr.t got a little frustrated with the concept of "unwrapping" gifts but once he got the hang of it, there was no stopping his distruction. yaya got him some really great toys that I am sure will drive papa & mama crazy for the next few months

tomas is done with the day's events here and is playing with two of his favorite toys-his ear and his thumb (clear signs that it is time for a bath, feeding and night-nite). he was so well behaved at mass, we couldn't believe it-what a christmas miracle!

okay, we're a little late on these (turned 10 months on 12/23) but what a cutie pie and handful he is-perfect fit for our wild-&-wacky family!

happy 3rd anniversary to us!

we went out on our first date, just the two of us, for our anniversary yesterday (12/20) since tomas joined our family (almost 10 months ago).  we've got to give tio ernesto (trey) a big Thank You for watching over mr.t and the animals for us-we had a great din-din out!

the last night-out we had was with tio howdy to the tcu vs. byu game at cowboys stadium-the three of us had quite a few laughs that night while wama (grandpa frank) stayed with tomas.

after tomas and mama dropped off our angel gifts at church we thought we'd visit yaya at her part-time job since it was near, bad idea. first it took forever for us to turn-in at highland park village and when we finally got in the parking lot poor ruby tuesday (our car) got bumped from behind by one of the most horrible people i've ever come across (don't know if she was having a bad day but i don't think so cause she was out shopping). the highlight of her bad attitude was when she rolled her eyes at me and barked to hurry up while she sat in her white lexus wearing a black fur (who even wears real fur anymore-poor animal)-she even looked like the mean mom from titanic (but older).

mr.t is a great eater and hasn't turned down anything we've given him! lets just hope he doesn't get any food allergies like his papa.

credit card...not a good idea

back in the day, you wouldn't get bombarded with credit card offers until you got to college...if you can believe it, our little tomas received one the other day.  it's funny that at the top it says "you've earned it"- last we checked he has no job and no credit (much less good credit)

1st live football game outta tummy

we've tried to make it to a tcu home game all season long, so come rain or shine the family was going to this one...

since t has gotten bigger papa likes to carry him on the shoulders, this makes mama very nervy

we took a potty break prior to entering the stadium in the daniel meyer coliseum and found the perfect photo-op for little t - too bad his had is a tad bit too small

we did leave early cause of the rain but got to go enjoy some railhead before leaving fort worth, so all-in-all a fantastic family day for us

little shopper

we were in need of mr.t food restock and decided to try the shopping cart wheels for the first time and he was even in charge of holding mama's purse

baby girl was ready for her morning run with papa but tom-tom thought he was going to take her...so instead mama and mr.t decided to go on an early morning starbucks run for some hot choxie

9 month exam

being all over the place makes getting any article of clothing (diapers included) sooo difficult, in addition to the fact that mr.t likes to be nakey...but knowing he was gonna be getting shots later in the day he was granted this wish.

and then at the dr.'s office he didn't even want to take off his socks-ay caramba.  this was actually the worst visit for both him and mama but he's healthy and thriving and that's all we could ask for!

for halloween yaya got tom-tom a gift but little did she know that she would be getting a gift in return, knowing that the music drives papa nuts is priceless

hsc visit

papa had to make a work-trip out to his unt hsc family, so tomas and mama decided to tag along and after snacks and sonic drinks with the ladies, bob decided to put mr.t to work (but safety first with the hard hat)

after t's shift we took a family photo of the three of us-these are hard shots to get since one of us is always taking the photos

halloween

neither of mr.t's parents are big in the whole dressing-up halloween bit, but we saw this cute footie for him we decided to at least put him in this - besides, it is the only way he's gonna have candy in his belly for some time.

we also had to put our treats outside using the honor system but sad to say all our goodies were gone quick...(since it is getting darker earlier and the time change tomas has moved his bedtime to 6:30 and is up between 4:30-5:30 - he is one with nature, too bad his parents' circadian rhythm is not quite so in-sync)

light the night walk 2011

thanks to all those who donated to our team-any money given helps in so many ways.  what a mix of emotions the walk had this year-heart heavy since it is the first without mama carmen but it is always invigorating to the spirit to share in this journey with others fighting the same cancer journey, and we had our youngest team member out of the belly!

bye-bye women's museum

sad to see the only museum of such in the country close its doors-what an awe-inspiring place to visit.  mama carmen and mama vron used to frequent the museum since it opened in 2000, so tomas had to make a visit too (we even convinced papa kevin to join us)!

san antonio visit

we finally made it down to san antonio for tomas' first visit and it was an experience for the entire family (even baby girl made the trip).  needless to say, there has been a change of thanksgiving plans, we will not be going to san anton and instead be celebrating with family up here.  we're gonna give mr.t a little time from travels and hope he grows outta whatever he's going through-poor baby had such a difficult & stressful trip (which translates to a crazy trip for all of us).
