working hard

since yaya is off from teaching for the summer she is working with papa at the office, it is busy season afterall. we made a visit to see all the gfc gang and eat lunchy w/papa

mr.t got busy learning how to work on spreadsheets and accidentally erased the payroll timesheets yaya was working on. oopsy

ikea here we come

we headed on our first ever family ikea trip and yaya got some photos of the occassion

water table fun

pappy & gma sent tomas a fun outdoor gift, since he's always trying to play with the water in babygirl's bowl

it took us a couple of weeks to getting around to putting the legs on, and it will be just a while longer to get all the "bells & whistles" going. nonetheless, mr.t had a great time playing with the table and mama's watering can. we even caught babygirl drinking from his table since it is at the perfect height for her. he was so wet in the front, off the clothes came once inside and he was so hungry he couldn't wait for us to get his food ready he had to have some of babygirl's.

15 month exam

another super exam for tomas, but it still is hard on mama when he gets his shots. he's still in the 90th for height, 45th in weight and his peanut head is in the 10th (this one makes mama worry a bit)

after the exam we went to the store and tom-tom wanted a ball so mama said yes (papa almost said no), since he'd done so good at his appointment. later when we were getting ready for bath, he got to taking off his bandages and wanted to eat them-gross

dyno bounce dino

what a strong dino tomas has but even as strong as he is he can't bounce tomas around

1st t.v. watching

nothing but running around can keep mr.t's attention for longer than 5 minutes, not even sesame street could do the trick-he watched a total of 15 seconds of this baseball segment. so off the t.v. went and back to the usual for tomas, jet, babygirl and mama

 

good thing we'd rather him learn to entertain himself than watch t.v.

familia for mother's day

we left the hotel early and drove down to eagle pass to visit "buela" (mama's paternal granmother, mr.t's greatgrandma), so that her and tomas could finally meet. we also got to see uncle raul & aunt lupe

after brunch and a short visit, we drove back to sa to drop yaya off at the airport and to celebrate (grand) mother's day with a cookout with pappy & gma and the brian & angela clan

happy mother's day to all the mama's out there and all those watching over us (we miss you mama carmen and love you from here to the sky)!

wedding day 5/12-randy & anna did it!

before the wedding while papa played a round of golf we had breakfast, people watched at the pool, walked the grounds (photo 1), saw an animal show (photo 2-tomas was petting a reptile), ate lunch, took a nap, got ready and headed for family photos

it was too difficult to get photos of the actual wedding, with papa bear in the wedding and mama bear running and carring for tom-tom. maybe we will get some from the rest of the family...

san antonio or bust

our part of the busy weekend begins--as tomas sits in his just washed car seat, mama is busy loading up the car with all the "just in case" things mr.t might need

after the 5 hour drive, some food, a quick swim and short nap, we attended the rehearsal din-din

cheese for all

yay, we get to see papa bear tomorrow!  tomas made an extra mess of din-din but good thing his big sis baby girl took one for the team and cleaned up

in all the crazy getting ready for the wedding and trip to san antonio, mr.t was all over the place. papa was getting ready to find his way down to sa in a few hours, so it's just gonna be jet, baby girl, tomas and mama alone for a couple of days.
